bought out of a wrecker storage yard in Anderson, Indiana late summer

or early fall 1978.  The story of the car up to the point of these pictures

was that it was a stolen / burn recovery.  Its Shelby number was #03900

and has had a very questionable restoration since that time.  I do

not remember how long  I owned the car; however, it or rather its

successor recently sold at auction for $275,000.00.

There is quite a following of the car on the internet, so just Google

"Shelby GT-500KR #03900" and you can see what has been written

about it, much of which is in error.
